²³ Then he invited them in and lodged them. And the next day, Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him. ²⁴ And the third day, they entered into Caesarea.

Cornelius was waiting for them, and had called together his relatives and special friends. ²⁵ And as Peter entered, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet and worshipped him.
